Twenty-four players will get the opportunity to impress the England Women’s senior team management when they meet in October for an Under-23 training camp.
Three Lions assistant boss Marieanne Spacey will take charge of the four-day camp, joined by head coach Mark Sampson and goalkeeping coach Lee Kendall.
Ten players travelled to Canada in the summer for the U20 World Cup, while Sunderland goalkeeper Rachael Laws was on the bench for the seniors’ 10-0 World Cup qualifying win over Montenegro earlier this month.

Spacey said: “This is a training camp with an emphasis on observing players that have been in the system with younger squads recently and some that may not have been in for a while.
“We’ve selected a few older players so it’s more of a development squad than an Under-23 squad, but I’m looking forward to working with them.”
Players from Arsenal and Manchester City haven’t been included due to their participation in the Continental Cup Final on 16 October, while players from Bristol Academy and Liverpool will be on Champions League duty.
