The 17-year-old forward has helped the Gunners’ U19s to reach the last 16 of the UEFA Youth League this season, notching three goals in as many outings in the competition. He has also featured for the clubs U18 and U21 sides this season.
Having put pen to paper on his deal, the youngster tweeted: “Happy to say I've signed my first professional contract at @Arsenal hopefully the first off many.”
Hinds, who grew up in Islington, has also shown his credentials on the international stage this campaign. He featured for John Peacock’s Young Lions at the UEFA International Tournament in August, striking a fabulous goal as he helped himself to a brace in a 4-3 victory over Italy at Burton Albion.
Following that game, he told TheFA.com: "I want to win the Euros just like last year’s U17s.
"There’s also a chance of a World Cup, which would be a dream to play in, so we all want to do well."
He added: "I’m going to go back to Arsenal, hopefully keep on performing there, and do enough to be selected for England."
Hinds will be looking to impress Peacock enough to be included in his squad for next month’s European U17s Championship Elite Round Qualifiers.
