The forward was a member of the England Under-17s squad that reached the quarter-finals of the European Championship in May, his first taste of international football.
The 17-year-old then went on to help the Young Lions qualify for the World Cup this October in Chile as they defeated Spain on penalties in the a play-off match.

Upon the Gunners confirming the news on their website, Mavididi said via his Twitter account: “Happy to sign my first professional contract at Arsenal, hopefully the first of many.
"Thanks to everyone that’s helped me get this far.”
The Gunners also confirmed that England U16 internationals Tolaji Bola, Charlie Gilmour and Joseph Willock have all signed scholarships with the club.
