One of The FA’s most popular digital coaching resources – The Boot Room magazine – is now free for all coaches to download.
Having previously been an exclusive benefit to members of The FA Licensed Coaches’ Club, the publication has been made available to any coach with an iOS or Android mobile or tablet device via Apple iTunes and Google Play.
Since its launch in 2011, The Boot Room magazine has established itself as a popular source of expert coaching content and has been downloaded over 53,000 times.
Twelve issues have been published to date, with each one providing insight from FA national coaches, overseas study visit reports, research articles, as well as a section dedicated to grassroots coaching.
The latest edition, published in April, focuses on the coaching experience from the player’s perspective and features exclusive interviews with former England internationals Scott Parker and Phil Neville, England U17s defender, Danny Collinge, as well as insight from the grassroots game, disability football, and a host of youth development experts.
