Three of England's Young Lions have been nominated for the Football League Young Player of the Year award.
Middlesbrough forward Patrick Bamford, Norwich winger Nathan Redmond and MK Dons midfielder Dele Alli are the three contenders for the honour.
England Under-21s star Bamford, in the north-east on loan from Chelsea, has netted 18 goals to spearhead Boro's bid for a return to the Premier League for the first time in seven years.
International team-mate Redmond has enjoyed a fine season with Norwich, scoring three goals for a Canaries side also challenging for promotion.
Alli, who has been a regular for Sean O'Driscoll Under-19s this term, has bagged 14 times from midfield including a hat-trick against Crewe.
That form earned him a move from MK Dons to Tottenham in January 2015, before being loaned back to the League One side for the rest of the campaign.
Whoever goes on to win the award will be among prestigious company.
Gareth Bale won the 2007 edition with Southampton, England midfielder Fabian Delph won with Leeds United in 2009, and Three Lions right-back Nathaniel Clyne was garlanded in 2010.
The winner will be announced on Sunday 19 April at the 10th annual Football League Awards.
