Birmingham City and Bristol Academy are both still without a league win this season as FA WSL 1's bottom two sides played out a 0-0 draw at Damson Park.
Despite having chance after chance, the Blues couldn't force a winner against the Vixens, who finally claimed their first point the day after appointing Willie Kirk as their new manager.
It took 25 minutes for either side to create any chance of note with Birmingham's Freda Ayisi sending a shot across goal wide after chasing down a long ball by Remi Allen.

Mel Lawley then a good chance for the hosts but hesitated in shooting and forced herself wide before sending an effort across the face of goal.
The hosts continued to have the best openings in the second half with Ayisi setting up Lawley on the left with Bristol goalkeeper Mary Earps holding on to her low shot.
With the pressure continuing to mount, Earps did well to block from Ayisi following Jo Potter's corner with Meaghan Sargeant volleying the rebound just wide.
It just wouldn't go in for Birmingham, who have only scored one league goal this year, with Kirsty Linnett lashing over the bar from close range with 10 minutes left.
