UEFA's European Elite Qualifying Round draw made in Nyon

England Under-19s and Under-17s found out their Euro Qualifying opponents on Thursday

England's Under-19 and Under-17 teams have found out who they will be facing in the next stage of Euro Qualifiying, following Thursday's Elite Round draw in Switzerland.

Aidy Boothroyd's U19s were drawn out in Group 1, which contains current holders Spain, Greece and Georgia with the fixtures being hosted by top-seeds Spain between 24 and 29 March 2016.

Only one nation from that group of four will progress to next summer's Euro Finals, which are being hosted by Germany in July.

Steve Cooper's U17s will have home advantage in Group 2, which contains Turkey, Ukraine and Finland with those matches also taking place between 24 and 29 March 2016.

The U17 Euro Finals take place in Azerbaijan next May, with the group winners and seven best runners-up all progressing to the tournament.

The draw was held at UEFA's headquarters in Nyon and also saw the First Qualifying Round groups for next season picked out.

That will see the U19s make the short trip across the border into Wales, where they will also face opposition from Greece and Luxembourg next November.

For the U17s, they will face group hosts Romania, Austria and Azerbaijan next October.

The seven group winners will join hosts Germany in the finals from 11 to 24 July.

The eight group winners and the seven runners-up with the best records against the teams first and third in their section will join hosts Azerbaijan in the finals from 5 to 21 May.
