The Tottenham Hotspur hitman, who on Monday signed a new five-and-a-half-year deal at White Hart Lane, has been in impressive form throughout the campaign and his latest two-goal salvo helped Mauricio Pochettino’s men to a 3-0 win over West Brom.
And the 21-year-old has no intention of slowing down his season, as the Londoners aim to keep fighting for a spot in the Premier League's top four.
"I am really pleased," said Kane after the weekend's game at the Hawthorns.
"Twenty goals was my next target after I got ten and I am happy to be there.
"I was on 18 for what felt like ages but I am very happy. Hopefully I can push on and get some more now.
"There is still a long way to go and I am really enjoying it at the minute. Hopefully I can continue."
Saturday’s win showed Spurs’ resolve as well as their quality, when they came up against an Albion side who had previously been unbeaten under new boss Tony Pulis.
But an early strike from Christian Eriksen followed by Kane’s first goal of the afternoon set them on their way before the former Millwall and Leyton Orient loanee completed his brace from the penalty spot.
"We wanted to have a fast start and get ahead in the game - we did with two quick goals," Kane told Spurs TV.
"In the second half, we said we had to remember what happened away at Sheffield United. We had to keep playing and try to get the third. We managed to do that and then it was quite comfortable for us."
Next up for Spurs will be an even bigger test, when fierce north London rivals Arsenal make the trip to N17 for what promises to be the next twist in the race for Europe.
And Kane, who came through the club’s academy ranks as a boyhood Spurs fan, can’t wait to test himself against Arsene Wenger’s team.
"The big one at White Hart Lane next Saturday - everyone is looking forward to it," he added.
"It's probably the biggest game of the season for us. We're really looking forward to it and hopefully we can get a win."
