The FA Cup travelled north from its Wembley home to Preston on Monday afternoon, and had two very high profile handlers to accompany it to Deepdale.
England manager Roy Hodgson and FA Chairman Greg Dyke personally delivered the famous trophy ahead of Preston North End's Fifth Round visit of Manchester United.
The special journey was part of The FA Cup Adventures season, which has already seen the trophy travel, among other places, to the South Pole in late 2014.
The pair took the trophy on the 2.30pm Virgin Train from London Euston, and a number of lucky fans onboard were given the opportunity to have their picture taken alongside The FA Cup.
