England manager Roy Hodgson was recently among the guests at the Bobby Moore Fund’s annual event, Dining with the Stars.
Into its fourth year, the evening of fine dining saw no fewer than five of the UK’s top Michelin-starred chefs work in unison to deliver a mouthwatering course each.
The 2015 chapter of Dining with the Stars was supported by a culinary super group consisting of Tom Sellers (Restaurant Story, London), Tom Kitchin (The Kitchin, Edinburgh), Michael Wignall (The Latymer, Pennyhill Park, Surrey), Richard Bainbridge (Morston Hall, Norfolk) and Simon Hulstone (The Elephant, Torquay).
Hodgson and his fellow guests helped to raise a staggering £141,000 on the night, which will now go towards vital bowel cancer research.
This brings the total raised since the event’s inception to £400,000.
The Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK is committed to beating bowel cancer in memory of the legendary England captain Bobby Moore.
