Eight ties were drawn out of the hat, although with only Newcastle United having confirmed their place in the Fifth Round so far, the other clubs must all face Fourth Round games before considering their next opponents.
But for the young Magpies, there is a potential north east derby in store as they will travel to either Sunderland or Ipswich Town in the next round with those clubs set to meet in the Fourth Round at the Stadium of Light next Tuesday.
Newcastle have already tasted victory over another local rival in this season’s Youth Cup, following their 3-2 win against Middlesbrough earlier this week.
Holders Chelsea are also in action next week when they host Huddersfield Town, with the winners landing a home tie against either Swansea City or Doncaster Rovers.
Ties must be played by Saturday 31 January 2015, kick-off 7.00pm, unless mutually agreed otherwise. The Fifth Round Proper draw
