Manchester City have signed Nikita Parris on a season-long loan from Everton.
The England Under-23s international is City boss Nick Cushing's fifth recruit of the close season, and is the third former Toffee to make the move to Manchester, following in the footsteps of Three Lions duo Toni Duggan and Jill Scott.
Parris said: "It feels great to be here. It's a big move for me but I can't wait to get started.
Parris's England record
U23s: 4 caps, 3 goals
U20s: 3 caps, 1 goal
U19s: 26 caps, 18 goals
U17s: 8 caps, 2 goals
"I was speaking to Nick and once I'd heard his dreams and ambitions for this club, I told my dad I was definitely going to come here.
"I speak to Toni a lot too and she told me I'd love it here and that it's brilliant.
"Obviously, she moved last season and it's good to have that reassurance that it's the right thing to do. She's young like me and I can't wait to play with her and Jill again.
"They had a big influence on me during my career with Everton and hopefully, they'll have a bigger one here at City."
Parris netted 11 goals in 19 games for Everton last season but it was not enough to save Andy Spence’s side from relegation to FA WSL 2.
The 20-year-old has represented England at U17, U19, U20 and Under-23 level, scoring 24 goals in 41 internationals.
Parris was named in Mo Marley’s Three Lions squad for last summer’s FIFA Women’s U20 World Cup in Canada, and scored against Nigeria.
Manchester City won last season's Continental Cup, beating three-time winners Arsenal in The Final.
City finished fifth in their inaugural season in FA WSL 1.
