Jamie Sherwood on Corinne Yorston
Yorston said: “I'm really looking forward to the new challenge that Yeovil Town brings to me.
“It was very important to me that Yeovil Town showed the right standards and matched the expectations I have from playing in FA WSL 1 and from the other FA WSL 1 offers I received, I have been very impressed with the ambition and drive to succeed shown by the club.
“I am determined to do everything I can to help them achieve all that they want to and all that they have the capabilities to do.
“They have a very good squad and a good set up throughout the club, and now I just can't wait to get training, get involved with the team, and get the season started.”
Yeovil manager Jamie Sherwood added: “Corinne is an excellent addition to our squad and this illustrates the ambition we have for this coming season.
“To have a player with such a winning mentality, attention to detail and experience will be invaluable to us both on and off the pitch.
“We truly believe that everyone within the club can benefit from this signing.
“She is a role model to our younger players within our youth, intermediate and development teams. In addition, her know how and her approach will help the senior team dressing room immensely.”
Yeovil will get their season under way against Lewes in the Third Round of The FA Women’s Cup. They entertain Lewes on Sunday 1 February.
