Burton Albion manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is one of 24 coaches beginning The FA UEFA Pro-Licence award this week.
The former Chelsea and Middlesbrough striker is among a host of well-known footballing names, including ex-England players Scott Parker and Phil Neville, who have gathered for the first three days of this year's course at St. George's Park.
England Women’s head coach Mark Sampson is also in attendance as the new intake kick-off the first module of the course.
Led by tutor John Peacock, England U17s head coach, the first block looks at the knowledge, skills and understanding of the principles of coaching in elite football.
With a number of guest speakers from various roles in the sporting and business world, the coaches will spend this week at the National Football Centre before they return for module two later this year.
Ryan Giggs, Paul Ince and Stephane Henchoz are three former Premier League players who gained their Pro-Licences last year, while this time around Brad Friedel, Ian Woan and Brian Borrows are among the players on the course to have featured in the top flight.
Meanwhile youth development coaches from academies across the game are involved on the course along with first-team managers and coaches.
Reading academy manger Eamonn Dolan and Ben Garner from Crystal Palace's academy, are joined by Brentford boss Mark Warburton, Portsmouth manager Andy Awford and ex-Norwich City gaffer Neil Adams at St. George's Park this week.
