Teams playing in the Fifth Round are just three victories away from a magical Wembley Final on 9 May.
The recent record of Northern League clubs in the competition has been outstanding, with five years of unbroken success from 2009 to 2013, and North Shields and Dunston UTS will be amongst the teams to watch this season.
North Shields, who top the League by a point and were winners of the old FA Amateur Cup back in the ‘60s, have been handed a home draw against Phoenix Sports, who made the long trip to Bodmin in Cornwall on Saturday.
And their fellow Southern Counties East League high-fliers Erith & Belvedere travel to Holbeach United of the United Counties League, after their biggest crowd for eight years saw Adam Marsh’s goal and George Kamurasi’s penalty save help them to a home win against Yaxley.
AFC St Austell, a Cornwall club celebrating their 125th anniversary, will welcome Stanway Rovers from the Eastern Counties League to Poltair Park after winning a thrilling tie at Greenwich Borough that had one spell of three goals in four minutes.
