Matty Daniels converted an early penalty before Paul Cook doubled their advantage shortly after.

United’s top scorer Matt Blake was next to get his name on the scoresheet, and he notched not once but twice before the interval – taking his tally for the season to 31 goals in 31 matches.

The Planters, understandably, took their foot off the gas after the break, although they did another as Daniels sealed his brace to complete the 5-0 rout.

The impressive visitors, managed by Damian Hilton, have now recorded 19 wins in their last 20 matches.

They will look to extend their run in the competition when they travel to Berkshire to face Ascot United on Saturday 7 February.
