The annual summer meeting of The FA Council has been held at St. George’s Park – with FA Board appointments high on the agenda.
Jack Pearce (Divisional Representative, Bognor Regis Town FC) replaces the retiring Michael Game as one of the four National Game representatives on the Board.
Jack has been appointed for a two-year term and can then seek re-election.
Meanwhile, Heather Rabbatts and Roger Devlin were reappointed as the two independent non-executive representatives on the Board, with each now serving a second, and final, three-year term.
Brian Adshead, re-elected as a vice-president of The FA, was re-elected on to the National Game Board for another three-year term. He is joined by Philip Smith (Kent FA) and Mark Frost (Huntingdonshire FA) who will also serve three-year terms.
The new members of Council welcomed at the meeting were Brian Barwick (National League), Alec Berry (Essex FA), George Dorling (London FA), Richard Everitt (Bedfordshire FA), Leonard Scott (North Riding FA) and Paul Tompkins (Herefordshire FA).
Steve Thompson (Dagenham & Redbridge FC) has also been appointed as a new Football League representative, but was unable to attend the meeting.
