Mo Marley says it was a case of "fine margins" as England suffered defeat to Spain in their second group game at the UEFA Women's U19 Championship.
After a narrow 2-1 loss to Germany in their opener last Wednesday, an early long-range stunner from Manchester City's Natasha Flint against Spain lifted Marley's side and gave them the lead in Israel.
However, Pilar Garrote levelled 10 minutes into the second half before two late set-pieces were England's undoing in Saturday's encounter at the Ramla Municipal Stadium.

First, Alba Redondo headed home from a dangerous free-kick with eight minutes to go, then on the stroke of full-time Leire Banos's corner was converted by Rocio Galvez.
England now face an uphill struggle to qualify from the group with one game left – they need to beat Norway on Tuesday and hope table-toppers Spain see off Germany.
"We took the initiative with the goal and are a bit disappointed in the manner we've conceded goals – set plays," said Marley.
"At this level, the feedback I have to give to the players is that it comes down to fine margins."
Marley, though, says she is pleased with the way her side have equipped themselves at the Finals, after qualifying in unforgettable fashion back in April.
And the young Lionesses will be confident they can pick up a positive result against Norway after drawing 2-2 with them in the elite qualifiers.
"We're happy with the way we're playing," added Marley. "We've done exceptionally well and we are quite an inexperienced team.
"Overall we're happy with the performance."
The group games wrap up on Tuesday evening with the top two teams in each progressing to the semi-finals.
