The Young Lions head coach and his squad met up in Cobham on Tuesday to begin preparations for next week’s double-header in Moscow.
His side have been in great form this season, recording two wins over each of Holland, Poland and Switzerland.

And he has no doubt that they will be keen to wrap up the season in similar fashion.
“It’s very important that they maintain the standards that they’ve set – which I’m sure they will” Dewsnip told TheFA.com.
“As I’ve got to know them over the season as individuals and as a group, I know they are very passionate about being the best they can be.
“I don’t think that there will be a danger that they will let themselves slip.”
With a number of the players used over the past 10 months having won the Euros with England at U17s level last May, Dewsnip has been impressed with their hunger to continue their dominance under his stewardship.
And although the two upcoming matches in Russia may be their toughest tests yet, he has full belief that they can add two more wins to their record.
“The environment that is created, in the main, comes from the players - although the staff obviously help. They are highly-motivated to impose themselves around Europe – which is lovely for me as their coach.
“This year they have not had any direct qualification football for them, but being European champions from last year was very important to them and they wanted to make sure that everyone knew who they were and why they were champions.
“They have carried that on and done really well this year.”
Without regular captain Ryan Ledson through injury, Newcastle United forward Adam Armstrong has been handed the armband for the trip.
He skippered the side last time out in March where he scored twice in a 6-1 win over Switzerland, and Dewsnip believes the extra responsibility that comes with leading the Young Lions brings out the best in the Geordie hitman.
“Adam captained the team against Switzerland at Walsall and he handled the responsibility very well. He is well respected by his team-mates and it did not seem to hinder him in anyway,” said Dewsnip.
“Sometimes being captain for your country can be a real challenge for some people, but he seems to relish it.
"He scored twice last time and performed extremely well – now the challenge for him is to go out and produce the same.”
