England Under-21s striker Danny Ings has agreed personal terms with Liverpool, the club has confirmed.
The Reds released a short statement on Monday morning.
It read: "Liverpool FC are delighted to announce that they have agreed personal terms with Danny Ings and, subject to a medical, the striker will join the club on 1 July after his contract with Burnley has expired."
Ings, who will meet up with Gareth Southgate's squad at St. George's Park on Tuesday, scored 11 goals in 35 Premier League appearances for Burnley in his debut season in the top flight.
He has also won nine caps for England's U21s, and will be a key member of the attacking unit when they head to the Czech Republic for the European Championships – which kicks-off on 17 June.
England get their campaign under way a day later when they face Portugal at the Mestsky Fotbalovy Stadion in Uherske Hradiste.
Before travelling to the Finals, Ings and the Young Lions will take on Belarus in a warm-up game at Barnsley's Oakwell Stadium on Thursday.
Tickets for the game at Oakwell on Thursday 11 June are on sale now, priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
