Jordan Henderson says work will continue on the training pitch as England look ahead to their final European Qualifier of the season.
The Three Lions played out a 0-0 friendly draw in Ireland on Sunday, which the Liverpool midfielder admitted was disappointing, but is confident when they travel to Slovenia next week they will secure another three points on the road to France.
And with most of the players having had their first run-out since the Premier League season ended two weeks ago, Henderson believes England will be in better shape for their qualifier.

"We have got a lot of work to do in preparing for the match with Slovenia but this was a good game for us to do that," said the 24-year-old.
"I think we will be a little disappointed with certain parts of the game and I think there are a lot of areas we can improve on.
"Of course you want to create as many chances as you can. I still felt like we created a few chances – Wayne [Rooney] had a couple of chances and on another day they might have gone in.
"But we will continue to work on that on the training ground and hopefully we can put that right on Sunday.
Despite that lack of cutting edge in Dublin, Roy Hodgson's men extended their unbeaten run to ten games against Ireland.
They also boast a 100 per cent record in their Group E European Qualifying campaign which has them sitting six points clear at the top of the table, ahead of Slovenia and Switzerland in joint-second.
And Henderson revealed that form ensures that spirits are high in the camp.
"We kept a clean-sheet and we are still unbeaten [this season]," said the former Sunderland man.
"But we need to be a bit more clinical in front of goal and at finishing teams off.
"So that is what we will look to do this week."
"I think we are still in a good state, we go to Slovenia confident and hoping we can get three points there."
The Liverpool vice-captain also backed club-mate Raheem Sterling to return to the form that has seen the 20-year-old earn 15 England caps already.
In European Qualifying, Sterling has also been a thorn in the side of many of England's opponents, scoring once and setting up three other goals.
But after a difficult game in Dublin, Henderson says it will only help him develop as a player.
"He is so strong-minded, and it will make him a stronger person and make him better," said Henderson, who collected his 21st England cap on Sunday.
"He will concentrate on doing his best for the team. He did that against Ireland, trying to create things and get on the ball all the time.
"Hopefully he can do the same next week.”
Before signing off for the summer, England take on Slovenia in Ljubljana in a Euro 2016 qualifier on Sunday 14 June.
The match kicks off at 5pm BST and can be watched live on ITV.
