Jack Wilshere admits he has had a "frustrating" season spending a large part on the sideline - but is eager to end it on a high.
Having picked up an injury for Arsenal in November, Wilshere did not get back to first team action until May, and also missed the Three Lions double-header in March against Lithuania and Italy.
His return was capped by a substitute performance at Wembley as the Gunners retained The FA Cup, and now he is focused on staying fit to help both club and country.

"There have probably been more lows then highs - although winning The FA Cup makes you realise when you are injured and working hard in the gym it's all worth it," said the 23-year-old.
"It has been a frustrating season for me getting injured in November and not coming back until April. It is frustrating when you see all the players going out to training and playing in the games.
"I am back now and hopefully I can have a fully fit season next year."
Wilshere has been playing in a deep-lying playmaker role for England this season, dating back to the 2-0 away win against Switzerland in September.
Despite that, he admits he cannot stop his natural tendency to run with the ball and is keen to help start England off on attacks.
And, he says, he watches some of the best dribblers in the world to pick up tips for his own game.
"When I was injured a few people said I should change my game, I should get it and pass it," said Wilshere.
"It did go through my head, I thought maybe they are right, maybe I should.
"As soon as I came back and I got on the ball, I just wanted to run with it."
He continued: "There are things I can do - you look at the best dribblers in the world, Messi and Iniesta - it seems to stick to their foot, so I can work on that when I am dribbling.
"I am never going to change my game."
Wilshere, who has 27 caps for his country, added: "Looking back to the Switzerland game, we beat them away, we had a good performance but even from then we have grown as a team.
"We have improved, we know each other better. We have adopted a new formation and I think we are getting better and better every game.
"That was a big ask for young players, myself, [Jordan] Henderson. There was a bit of pressure there, especially in the first game and we sort of showed people what we can do.
"We have come a long way from then and we feel we have a long way to go before the Euros."
