And the Norwich City forward believes the squad have put Thursday’s opening day defeat against Portugal behind them to re-focus on the remaining two group games.
"Over the past two years, with what we’ve achieved as a group and how we are off the pitch, we can go into the game tomorrow looking to win," said Redmond.
"We’re all upbeat and on a high so it’s good to see, we’re going into the game with enthusiasm and we’re looking forward to the challenge.
"Over the past two years, the bond we’ve created off the pitch as well as on the pitch, it’s something special.
"All the lads are determined and enthusiastic just to get going in the next game.
"Every time we’ve had a dip, we want to get into the next game and rectify it.
"So I’m confident and I’m sure that the lads will find it in them.
"We’ll respect them [Sweden], because they’ve qualified and have every right to be here, like we have."
Last week saw Redmond lose his room-mate Saido Berahino, with the West Bromwich Albion striker returning home after being ruled out of the Finals through injury.
But his replacement is Benik Afobe is also a player which Redmond knows well, having played together for the U19s previously.
"He’s got a lot of strength and direct pace and he’s scored a lot of goals this season at MK Dons and Wolves," added Redmond.
"I’ve played in the squads with him before at U19 level a couple of years ago and it was a tremendous shame that he picked up a couple of injuries in his short career so far.
"But he’s glad to be back in the squad and he’ll be enjoying being around the group."
