As England Under-21s prepare to meet Italy in their third and final group game at the European Championship on Wednesday evening, we take a look back at a memorable clash between the two nations.
In March 2007, the Azzurrini were the first team to visit the new Wembley Stadium and what followed was something of a classic in front of a 55,000 strong crowd.
With Nigel Pearson in charge of the Three Lions that day, there were a number of faces in the squad who went on to become regulars in the England senior set-up such as Gary Cahill, Joe Hart, James Milner and Leighton Baines.
And the Italians also fielded a few now-familiar names such as Giorgio Chiellini, Antonio Nocerino, Riccardo Montolivo and Giampaolo Pazzini, who scored a hat-trick in the 3-3 draw.
Watch the highlights, and six great goals, from the game in the media player below.
