Manchester City stormed into the Semi-Final with a 6-1 win over Crewe Alexandra

Manchester City came from a goal down to hit Crewe Alexandra for six and remain on course to win The FA Youth Cup for the first time since 2008.

Their next task is to beat Leicester City in their two-legged Semi-Final, but first they can enjoy this huge 6-1 win.

Boss Jason Wilcox had warned that his side faced a tricky tie against the Railwaymen and his words were borne out after only seven minutes when Tom Lowery put the visitors in front with a 25-yard cracker.

But Crewe hardly had a chance to settle on their lead as City were ahead inside quarter of an hour after they hit back through goals from Aaron Nemane and England U19s' forward Brandon Barker.

That was how it remained until four minutes after the break when a vocal crowd was rewarded with a third City goal from Denzeil Boadu.

Barker then scored again, in the 64th minute, and the match was over as a contest.

Just when Crewe thought it could not get much worse City struck their fifth through Bersant Celina eight minutes from time and Thierry Ambrose scored the sixth goal in the 86th minute.

On this form, City are going to take some stopping.
