Notts County defender Amy Turner has been handed her first England call-up following the withdrawal of Casey Stoney through injury.
Turner will fly out to join Mark Sampson's squad – who are about to kick off their Cyprus Cup campaign – on Thursday and will be available for Friday's match against Australia.
The 23-year-old is a pacey centre-half who has already captained England at Under-23s level.
She started her career at Doncaster Belles and moved on to Sheffield FC before joining the Lady Pies.
Former captain Stoney, who has been ruled out with a hamstring injury, will remain with the squad for the rest of the tournament.
