But fate has a wonderful way of unfolding, and after making his first trip to the national stadium back in August, the North Ferriby United defender could find himself running out on to the hallowed turf.

Having helped his side defeat Bath City on penalties to secure their place in The FA Trophy against Wrexham on Sunday 29 March, the 30-year is still struggling to get his head around it.
“I went to the Community Shield – the second time I go [To Wembley] I’ll be playing there! It’s unbelievable,” he told the Non-League Paper.
“You would never dream of walking out and playing in the competition. You might get lucky and do it through a corporate or charity match, but in a big FA competition, it is a dream.
“This is why you play football. This is why you graft all the way through the week, train Tuesday, train Thursday and play Saturday.
“Forty weeks of the year your life is dedicated to non-league football. This is probably the biggest reward a player can get.”
Tickets for the non-league showpiece under the arch are on sale now, and Anderson’s wallet is already feeling the impact – with the North Ferriby man already purchasing 44 tickets to ensure his friends and family are sat together.
“It’s just great,” he added. “All your genuine mates are made up for you and proud of you. For the club, every player, every wife, every girlfriend – it’s a proud moment.
“It’s a tiny village, but we’ve got great support and we’ve got a connection with Hull City. It’s great for North Ferriby and what they’ve achieved over the last few years.”
