Calum Chambers says confidence has been the key factor behind Arsenal’s recent run of good form.
The Gunners beat West Ham 3-0 at the Emirates on Saturday to record their eighth league victory in nine, and now sit one point behind Manchester City in second place.
Saturday's victory came five days after the Gunners' 2-1 FA Cup quarter-final victory at Manchester United.
And the England defender says spirits are high at the club.
“We’ve got a lot of confidence and we’re building momentum in the league,” he told Arsenal Player.
“We’re getting a lot of good results and we’ve just got to keep the positive vibe and keep getting the results we need.”
Chambers made his 37th appearance of the season for the Gunners, since his summer move from Southampton.
Arsenal are now unbeaten in the league since the 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on 7 February.
And the former England Under-19s captain said it is the manner of the victories, against strong opposition, that is most pleasing.
“Getting a clean sheet is always a positive for us defenders and for the whole team,” he told Arsenal Player.
“We knew it would be a tough game because West Ham are a good side but I thought we played well, kept strong and got the goals we needed,” he added.
“We’ve got a lot of confidence and we’re building momentum in the league”

“[Aaron Ramsey] got himself a goal and he had a great performance. He’s a quality player and let’s hope it keeps going.
“[Olivier’s Giroud] is another quality player. He scores lots of goals so it’s always a positive to have goalscorers in the team.”
Chambers will be hoping to among Roy Hodgson’s England ranks for the fixtures against Lithuania and Italy.
