Phil Jones has recovered from injury and is ready to help Manchester United secure their passage back into the Champions League.
Jones, 23, played 62 minutes for the club’s Under-21s as they beat Southampton 1-0 at Leigh Sports Village on Monday evening.
"I'm happy to play in the Under-21s and get some fitness,” he told MUTV.
"I feel I'm ready to go again and hopefully I can make the squad on Saturday."
The England defender has not featured for the first team since the 4-2 victory against Manchester City on 12 April.
That win was the fourth in a row for Louis van Gaal’s men, after defeating Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Aston Villa before the derby day success.
“We have got a long way to go as there are still three games coming up - three massive games”

Since then though the Red Devils have struggled for form and have lost successive games – against Chelsea, Everton and West Bromwich Albion.
The trio of defeats – their first in the league in 14 years – means the club’s final three games take on added importance, as they sit just four points ahead of fifth-placed Liverpool.
"We have got a long way to go as there are still three games coming up – three massive games – and we have got to approach it in the right way,” added Jones.
“I'm sure we can do that and cement that top-four finish."
First up for Jones and Man Utd is a trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday 9 May.
They then take on Arsenal at Old Trafford before closing the season away to Hull City on 24 May.
