Harry Kane continued his goalscoring form on his return to club duty as he helped Tottenham Hotspur, featuring eight Englishmen, to a thumping 4-1 win over West Ham United.
After playing in both England games against Spain and France last week, Kane was quick off the mark at White Hart Lane finishing the first from close-range with 23 minutes gone following a ricocheted shot from his teammate for club and country, Dele Alli.
Toby Alderweireld doubled the advantage to give them a 2-0 lead at the break.
England striker Kane, 22, had his second goal five minutes after the turn-around, collecting the ball from Christian Eriksen and driving home from the edge of the box.
It was the fifth successive Spurs game that Kane had scored, taking his tally for Mauricio Pochettino's men this campaign to nine.
Kyle Walker celebrated his first goal in two years hammering in a shot with the outside of his boot to make it 4-0 with seven minutes left.
West Ham managed a late consolation through Manuel Lanzini, but it was a fine display from Spurs, who also had Eric Dier and Danny Rose in their starting line-up.
Meanwhile Tom Carroll, Ryan Mason and Josh Onomah came off the bench in the second half.
The result keeps Tottenham in fifth spot in the Premier League, but moves them three points ahead of the Hammers.
Earlier in the day England goalkeeper Tom Heaton helped Burnley claim a home point in a 1-1 draw with unbeaten Brighton & Hove Albion.
Under-21s midfielder Solly March was in the Seagulls team that took a first-minute lead from through former Three Lions forward Bobby Zamora. Zamora was replaced in the second half by another of Gareth Southgate's young England players, Jake Forster-Caskey.
Ex-England C team striker Andre Gray levelled for the Clarets after just four minutes and that is how the game at Turf Moor remained.
