Bassala Sambou scored twice for Coventry as the Sky Blues marched into the third round of the FA Youth Cup with a 2-0 win against Crewe Alexandra at Nuneaton Town FC.
They now face Premier League Stoke City in the next round in December after a near faultless display against Crewe.
Coventry started strongly and could have gone ahead on three minutes as Sambou’s header was brilliantly saved, before Dan Smith was also unlucky not to score from a corner.

The game was all but done before the break as Sambou was twice released and he ran clear to slide the ball under Crewe goalkeeper Kieran Harrison .
It should have been three before the break as in the 37th minute, Chris Camwell's left-sided cross found Tom Bayliss in the middle but he failed to hit the target.
Sambou should have claimed his hat-trick when Smith found him in the six-yard area but the keeper pulled off an incredible reaction stop in the 66th minute.
