Alex Greenwood took some time out of England’s preparations for their match with Germany to answer fans’ questions on Twitter.
The 21-year-old took over the @england account at the team hotel in Dusseldorf ahead of Thursday’s tantalising friendly.
Greenwood spoke of her admiration for Lionesses captain Steph Houghton, she discussed the highlight of her career so far and revealed her debt to England team-mate Fara Williams.
Mark Sampson’s side face European champions Germany in Duisburg on Thursday.
The two nations last met at the World Cup in the summer, when England edged their opponents after extra-time to win the bronze medal.
It was their first-ever win over Germany in 21 attempts.
They will travel home on Friday and get ready for to take on Bosnia & Herzegovina in a Euro 2017 qualifier at Bristol City on Sunday.
It will be England’s first home match since Canada 2015 and plans have been made to mark the homecoming at Ashton Gate.
Bosnia tickets are priced £5 for adults and £2.50 for children.
