Jenk Acar capped a thrilling extra-time 3-2 victory as Lincoln City fought back from behind to book their place in the FA Youth Cup third qualifying round at the expense of Boston United.
Boston striker Harry Limb seized on goalkeeper Richard Walton’s poor kick to slot home from 18 yards before Leon Loftus, following good play from Lewis Millington and Acar, equalised in the 24th minute.

An unmarked Liam Harris then converted Loftus’ cross early in the second half and after Millington missed a glorious chance to double Lincoln’s advantage, Limb levelled with a near-post strike against the run of play.
The Pilgrims’ Oli Drummond nearly won it at the death when his deflected strike hit the crossbar, and at the other end Jack McMenemy’s goal was chalked off.
But Acar neatly finished in the first half of extra time to send Lincoln through.
Jordan Davies got the ball rolling for Wrexham in a dominant 3-0 victory over Abbey Hey.
Ryan Williams and Davies both went close to scoring early on before the latter broke the deadlock in the 18th minute, firing home with a left-footed strike from distance.
The Wrexham assault continued – George Harry’s header rebounding off the crossbar – but the second goal had to wait until the second half after Leo Smith found the net from the edge of the box.
A dogged Abbey Hey, whose first shot on goal did not arrive until the 78th minute, held firm until Thomas Creamer wrapped up the victory in the closing stages.
Elsewhere, Udoyen Akpan’s second-half header ensured Tranmere Rovers held off an attempted Curzon Ashton comeback to win 3-2.
Jay Hunter opened the scoring for Tranmere after a handball in the penalty area and he doubled their advantage following a through ball from Tolani Omotola – before the visitors pulled a goal back.
And Akpan headed home after Hunter delivered a brilliant ball from a free-kick, giving Tranmere enough to hold on despite a Nash consolation.
Elsewhere Ilan Ap-Gareth, Ollie Nugent and Matty Waters all found the scoresheet twice in Chester’s 7-0 triumph over Cheadle Town.
And Alfie Paxman grabbed a hat-trick as Dover Athletic swept aside Dartford 6-1, while Forest Green Rovers took away a 3-0 win at Ashton & Backwell United.
There was also a hat-trick hero for Kidderminster Harriers as Cal Parker impressed in their 7-0 victory over Halesowen Town.
