The man credited with bringing Luis Suarez to English shores in 2011, Damien Comolli, has been confirmed as one of the presenters at the 2015 FA Talent ID conference, which takes place at St. George's Park on Friday 4 December.
The former Liverpool director of strategy - who has also worked at Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Saint-Etienne - will present on the link between recruitment and culture, and will join global head of talent acquisition for Cisco Systems, Kevin Blair, as the one of the event’s keynote speakers.

Blair, who leads the IT giants’ recruitment activity and has broad international experience delivering highly competent methods of recruitment in over 50 countries, will speak about the idea of Candidates for Life and the processes by which the company seeks to continually increase the overall quality of hire.
Meanwhile, from South Africa, the conference will also welcome Dr Ross Tucker, professor of exercise physiology with the School of Medicine of the University of the Free State and a leading expert in talent identification. All three will be joined by experts from within The FA, whose expertise are drawn from both the men’s and women’s game.
Among them is Nick Levett, FA talent identification manager for the foundation phase, Darren Bailey, FA director of football governance and regulation, and John Griffiths, England women’s under-17s head coach, who will look at the topics Not everything is equal, Doing the right thing, and Next generation of Lionesses, respectively.
