The 28-year-old started in the Three Lions' 6-0 victory over San Marino last week and back at his club on Sunday levelled the contest against Villa netting a close-range effort with just eight minutes left.
Jack Grealish and Carles Gil both scored earlier to put the visitors in the lead before Ritchie de Laet's volley ignited Leicester's response. Nathan Dyer grabbed the winner in the final minute for the Foxes to send them second in the Premier League table.
Former Under-21s winger Marc Albrighton was also in action in Leicester’s immense comeback, while Micah Richards – whose last England cap came in 2012 – again impressed at the back for Villa, despite the loss, alongside Joleon Lescott.
