Robbie Mundow scored in the first minute and Leatherhead never looked back from there as they fired five past Arundel on Thursday to reach the second qualifying round of The FA Youth Cup.
It took Mundow just 30 seconds to open the Tanners’ account before Ben Jordan and an own goal opened up a 3-0 lead by the half time whistle.
Substitute Louis O’Brien popped up with a fourth and, though Arundel launched a fightback with two quickfire strikes, Alfie Tonkin wrapped a 5-2 victory up for the hosts in the 80th minute.

Nathaniel Groom emerged off the bench to seal a 3-1 win for Clevedon Town against Bridgwater Town.
Sam Downe had put Clevedon in front before Reece Malcolm levelled things up for the visitors.
Archie Ferris then restored the Seasiders’ lead just before the break and then Groom, who in an eventful cameo also picked up a yellow card, made the result safe.
On a night that saw 43 games take place, substitute Anthony Mozie notched a hat-trick for Bedfont Sports in their nine-goal thrashing of Newport Pagnell Town – but he wasn’t the only player to score three.
Harrison Livingstone was also a hat-trick hero, his second a fine effort from 25 yards, in addition to goals for Harry Sanders and Charlie Matheson.
Jaime Charnock hit the winner for Ashton Athletic in a 3-2 victory after a spirited Marine attempted comeback from two goals down.
And Jordan Garrick also grabbed a double for Ossett Albion in a fine 3-0 triumph at Sheffield, with Callum Dobson the other scorer.
Elsewhere, Grimsby Town took a 4-0 victory home from Dinnington Town, Havant & Waterlooville hung on to beat Eastleigh 3-2, and Tooting & Mitcham United ran away 5-0 winners at Ramsgate.
Gloucester City were also dominant as they recorded a 7-1 victory over Pewsey Vale and Kettering Town defeated Wellingborough Town 3-0.
