England U21s drawn alongside Poland, Sweden and Slovakia

England have been placed in Group A for next summer’s UEFA Under-21 finals alongside hosts Poland, holders Sweden and Slovakia.

The draw, which was attended by the Young Lions’ interim head coach Aidy Boothroyd, took place in Krakow.

The finals will feature 12 teams, drawn across three groups of four.

The finals will take place from 16 to 30 June, with England’s Group A matches being held on 16 June, 19 June and 22 June.

Euro draw:

Group A: ENGLAND, Poland (hosts), Sweden (holders), Slovakia.

Group B: Portugal, Serbia, Spain, FYR Macedonia.

Group C: Germany, Czech Republic, Denmark, Italy.
