Three goals in the final 20 minutes helped Grimsby Town see off a spirited Havant & Waterlooville to reach the FA Trophy quarter-finals.
Jon-Paul Pittman finally broke the deadlock in an even contest with a thunderous volley from 25 yards, just as the Blundell Park faithful were beginning to anticipate a replay.

Jon Nolan made it two with three minutes remaining and Grimsby’s progress was sealed when defender Ben Swallow swept Nolan’s cross into his own net.
Ryan Bowman scored the game’s only goal as Gateshead beat AFC Fylde and Joe Quigley’s first-half strike was enough to put Woking into the last eight against 10-man Oxford City.
Quigley struck five minutes before the interval and though Oxford pushed for an equaliser, their race was effectively run when Jose Laboujade was shown a second yellow card with eight minutes remaining.
A last-gasp equaliser from substitute Duane Ofori-Acheampong earned Dover Athletic a 2-2 draw with Guiseley and forced a replay.
Will Hatfield fired Guiseley into a half-time lead, but Dover were level on the hour when Jack Parkinson controlled Sean Raggett’s knockdown and fired in.
Guiseley looked to be heading through to the quarter-final after Gavin Rothery put them back in front, but Ofori-Acheampong climbed off the bench to tap in from a yard on 89 minutes to force a replay.
Sutton United and Bognor Regis Town will also meet again after a goalless draw.
The FA Trophy quarter-final draw takes place at 11am on Monday and will be broadcast live on Perisope via the @FA Twitter feed.
