The FA People’s Cup 2016 kicks-off this weekend as over 4000 teams and 34,000 amateur players begin their quest for glory.
With 129 different venues across England playing host to the first round from Friday evening through to Sunday afternoon, it’s set to be a busy weekend for the competition, in partnership with BBC Get Inspired.

There are ten different categories in The People’s Cup, meaning there’s a way for everyone to get involved and it’s certain to be competitive with successful teams having a chance of heading to Wembley for The Emirates FA Cup Final in May.
Those different categories are as follows: Adult Male, Adult Female, U16 Boys, U16 Girls, U14 Boys, U14 Girls, Male Veterans, Female Veterans, Walking Football (Over 50s & mixed) and Disability.
