A late goal from Anthony Martial sealed a 2-1 win for Louis Van Gaal's side, who had taken a first-half lead through Marouane Fellaini before a Chris Smalling own goal levelled things up for Everton.
Crystal Palace now facing Watford under the arch on Sunday with that showdown starting at 4pm, with BT Sport on-air from 3pm.
