England Under-21s were put through their paces on Friday night when they trained under floodlights in a picturesque setting at Stockhorn Arena.
The modern, compact stadium – with a 3G artificial grass pitch – sits in the valley amid the Swiss alps, with the snowcapped Stockhorn mountain looming over Gareth Southgate's charges.

Assistant coaches Steve Holland and Paul Clement led a passing and shooting drill, with goalkeeping coach Martin Thomas working his shot-stoppers, before the group came together for a short practice match.
