The England Under-21s squad for this month’s Toulon Tournament has been named by head coach Gareth Southgate.
A 20-man group will travel to southern France for the competition next week, which will see the Three Lions face Portugal, Guinea, Paraguay and Japan in their initial group games.
And Southgate has been able to call upon an experienced squad, with 12 of those selected for the trip having played at Toulon either last year for the U20s under Aidy Boothroyd or in 2014 with his own side.

There are also first call-ups for Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish, who last year declared his international allegiance to England after previously representing Republic of Ireland, and Chelsea's Kasey Palmer who has been included in Guus Hiddink's senior squad in recent weeks after an impressive season at Stamford Bridge.
Nathaniel Chalobah, Nathan Redmond and Duncan Watmore are also back in the squad after missing March’s Euro Qualifier with Switzerland through injury, whilst a number of players are unavailable due to involvement in the Emirates FA Cup Final, Europa League Final or Championship play-offs.
The squad will meet at St. George’s Park on Monday, before they travel to France ahead of Thursday’s opening game with Portugal.
England will then take on Guinea (23 May), Paraguay (25 May) and Japan (27 May) in their group games before a potential fifth game on Sunday 29 May should Southgate’s team finish top or second in the group.
