Friday 11 Nov 2016
The England Women's Under-17s and Under-19s teams today found out who their respective opponents will be for the elite qualifying round of the European Championship following the draw at UEFA's headquarters in Geneva.

John Griffith's U17s will host their elite round fixtures against Germany, Poland and Italy in March 2017. The top-placed team in the group will make it through to the finals, which will be staged in Czech Republic next May.

They will travel to Latvia in October for the opening round of Euro qualifiers for next season’s competition. They will take on Scotland, Slovakia and the host nation.

Mo Marley's U19s travel to Turkey for their elite round matches where their opponents will be Czech Republic, Denmark and the host nation. Again, the group winners will progress to the finals, which will take place in Northern Ireland next August.

The team face a long journey to Kazakhstan for their opening round of qualifiers next season, with matches against local rivals Wales, Slovenia and Kazakhstan.
