Newport County’s Paul Bignot has been suspended for six matches, fined £600 and warned as to his future conduct following an FA misconduct charge of violent conduct.
It follows an incident in or around the 45th minute of Newport County’s game against Cheltenham Town FC on 10 September 2016.
The charge, which was denied but found proven, was heard on Wednesday 26 October 2016 by the independent regulatory commission.
The sanction is currently set aside, subject to the right of appeal.
