Luke Callander lit up the Emirates FA Cup first round qualifying with four goals as AFC Sudbury brushed aside the challenge of Halstead Town.
Callander struck twice either side of Sam Bantick’s effort to lead 3-0 at the interval.
Within seconds of the restart Callander completed his hat-trick and then hit his fourth before Jordan Blackwell wrapped up the scoring on the hour.

Aaron O’Connor bagged a 91st-minute winner as Kettering Town squeezed past Leek Town 3-2.
Goals from Jordan Johnson and Tim Grice had twice cancelled out the Poppies’ lead, given to them by former Football League marksman Rene Howe and Nathan Hicks.
The tie looked destined for a replay when Kettering missed a last-gasp penalty, until O’Connor made himself a hero.
