England v South Korea
NTC Invitational
9pm BST, Sunday 18 September
Glenn Myernick Field, California
Marley said: “We are really proud of how the girls have performed so far, in what has been such an intense competition following on from WSL fixtures last Sunday.
“Unfortunately we haven’t qualified for the World Cup, but in this tournament we wanted to make a statement that we can compete with the best teams in the world.
“The girls have contended with extreme heat conditions, an 11-hour flight and limited preparation time but the performances have been remarkable considering this.
“The professionalism of the players to this point has been excellent.
“We are proud of how they have conducted themselves so far and hope they continue this into the final game.”
England’s last match is against South Korea, who will also be on the plane to Papua New Guinea, on Sunday (9pm BST KO).
