Kazaiah Sterling continued his fine form in this season’s FA Youth Cup with both goals as Tottenham Hotspur saw off Norwich City 2-0 in Thursday’s fifth round tie.
Sterling hit a first-half hat-trick in the third round victory over Stevenage in November and netted twice in the opening half an hour against the Canaries.
He opened the scoring on 17 minutes, latching on to a through ball from captain George Marsh and firing past keeper Fergal Hale-Brown.
And victory was assured on 30 minutes when Dylan Duncan picked out Sterling, who finished with aplomb.
John McDermott’s youngsters will travel to Newcastle United in the quarter-final, hoping to continue their quest to win the FA Youth Cup for the first time since 1990.
