England Women will play a double-header in April in their last home matches before this summer’s UEFA Women’s Euro 2017 finals.
The Lionesses will take on Italy at Port Vale’s Vale Park on Friday 7 April, before facing Austria at MK Dons’ Stadium MK on Monday 10 April. Both games kick-off at 7.45pm.
Tickets for both fixtures are on sale now priced at £7.50 for adults and £3.50 for children for each game. A family ticket – for two adults and two children – is available at £15, and group booking and Charter Standard discounts apply.
The Lionesses kick-off their Euro 2017 campaign – which will be staged in Netherlands – against Scotland in Utrecht on Wednesday 19 July. They then play Spain in Breda on Sunday 23 July and Portugal in Tilburg on Thursday 27 July in Group D.
England captain Steph Houghton said: "These games are excellent preparation for us ahead of the Euros.
"They’re against good European opposition and are close together, so really replicating what we’ll experience during the tournament.
"We need to use these games to build momentum in both our performances and togetherness as a team. We want to be as ruthless as we can be and get into winning habits, and that’s something we’ll be working towards in these games.
"It’s also our last chance to play on home soil before we go to the tournament.
"The support we had during the World Cup in 2015 really helped push us on and we hope people get behind us in the same way during the Euros and at these games."
The Lionesses last played Austria away in August 2010, winning 4-0 thanks to a brace from Kelly Smith and a goal apiece for Ellen White and Alex Scott.
England also enjoyed victory the last time they played Italy at the 2014 Cyprus Cup, winning 2-0 with goals from Toni Duggan and Karen Carney.
Tickets for both games can be bought via TheFA.com/Tickets, and are also available via 01782 655821 (England v Italy) and 0333 200 5343 (England v Austria) as well as in person at each club’s box office. Group booking and Charter Standard booking forms for both games can be downloaded below.
The Lionesses are in the US this week for the SheBelieves Cup, where they will face France in Pennsylvania on Wednesday 1 March, hosts USA in New Jersey on Saturday 4 March and Germany in Washington DC on Tuesday 7 March.
