The FA has appointed Andy Edwards as a national specialist coach working across all England development teams.
The 45-year-old joins from Leyton Orient, where he has been first-team manager since November 2016, having previously been the club's academy director.
Edwards, who will specialise as an out-of-possession coach, is a former defender who previously played for Southend United, Birmingham City, Peterborough United, Rushden & Diamonds and Aldershot Town. He joined Orient in 2009 having coached within Arsenal's academy.
The appointment continues The FA's commitment to invest in the technical division based out of St. George's Park, the world-class home of England's 24 national teams. The position is one of a number of specialist coaches supporting the progression and development of players through the elite England pathway.
