Michael Keane added to England squad as Dele Alli withdraws

Michael Keane has been drafted into the England squad for this month’s games against Germany and Brazil.

The defender returned from a recent injury in time to play in Everton’s 3-2 win over Watford on Sunday.

Keane has now been added to the group of players due to report to St. George’s Park today, ahead of the upcoming double-header at Wembley Stadium.

The Three Lions will be without Dele Alli, who was ruled out on Sunday after suffering a hamstring injury before Tottenham Hotspur’s game against Crystal Palace.

Harry Kane and Harry Winks – who were both substituted in that game at Wembley – will undergo further assessment at their club before joining up with England, as will Chelsea's Gary Cahill.

Jordan Henderson, who missed Liverpool’s win over West Ham United due to a thigh problem, is due to arrive later in the week.

England face Germany on Friday 10 November before hosting Brazil four days later, on Tuesday 14 November. Tickets for both games start at £20 for adults and £10 for children via TheFA.com/Tickets.
